After 'Worship Yourself', our self-released mini-album, came out, we attracted some attention from the music industry. Hall or Nothing, an independendent PR company, offered to release some music for us on their own imprint, Crystal Songs.

They somehow managed to blag some free recording time in the Church Studios, then owned by Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics. Chris Sheldon, fresh from recording Biffy Clyro's 'The Vertigo of Bliss', gave us his time for free, producing and engineering the track. We recorded '...And They Obey' in one day.

Also included in this upload are the two b-sides from that release. They were recorded at Ionian Studios, Bolton. The guy who turned up to engineer the tracks was awful. We didn't even ask for his last name. He is credited on the CD simply as 'Julian'. They sound pretty poor as a result, though the songs themselves aren't too bad.

This is one of three version of '...And They Obey' that was released during our time together. The other two appeared, respectively, on Worship Yourself and Handshakes for Bullets. I'm not not sure that this version is floating about anywhere else.
